
History-To-Go began in 2004 and has since grown to offer as many as five, customized events per year. We’ve explored residential and commercial areas all over the Valley and beyond, sharing historical information such as architectural details and historical neighborhood development, little-known stories of significant people and events, and environmental evolutions that shaped where we live. Having outside experts and knowledgeable MVHS staff giving insights and answering questions outside the walls of our sites provides a special enjoyment to all who participate.
Thank you for another successful year of History to Go! We appreciate all those that attended our events and supported our mission of collecting, preserving and teaching the history of the Mahoning Valley. See you next year!
This annual event series, as well as our popular Cookie Table and Cocktails fundraiser in February, are made possible with the dedicated volunteers of our History To Go Team. It is comprised of individuals who enjoy engaging with the community, increasing general awareness of MVHS, and promoting a deeper understanding of our local history.
