Street parking in front of the History Center is free for two hours.  Daily parking is available on the west side of the building (bridge side) for $2.50. The pay box is located at the W. Federal Street sidewalk. Place payment in the numbered slot which corresponds to the number on the parking spot.  The parking lot on the east side of the building (Home Savings side) is a monthly permit lot, cars parked there without a tag will be towed.  For rental events, parking is in the lot on the west side of the building, unless otherwise specified.

As of August 7, 2020 and until further notice, admissions for Tyler History Center and Arms Family Museum will be separate. This new policy allows visitors to choose one site or the other, with no additional cost or time obligation to visit both sites on the same day.

The Arms Family Museum closes the first floor exhibits in October, and the entire museum is closed the week prior to Memories of Christmas Past.  The museum is also closed for the remainder of January (after Memories of Christmas Past closes to the public).
