Travel back to one of our nation’s most trying times. Students will explore five areas of Civil War history guided by a museum educator: slavery, soldier’s life, civilian life, politics, and the aftermath. Each station features local history stories, artifacts, images, maps, and much more. This program is best suited for Eighth Grade and above (can be adapted for younger grades if needed and above and is one hour long.
Artifacts include:
• Primary source images, maps, documents, letters, newspaper articles
• Reproduction clothing, tools, and accessories
