The Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next free History to Go lecture will be on Thursday, November 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the Tod Homestead Cemetery Chapel. Traci Manning, The Historical Society’s Curator of Education, will present “David Tod and The Civil War: Youngstown Son, Wartime Governor”. Learn about the man who helped to raise troops from the Mahoning Valley and lead Ohio through this country’s most difficult years. His early life, Valley roots, and political influence are set against the background of national disunion and war.
