Christmas tree decorating has long included a combination of homemade and store-bought ornaments and trims. This tree, trimmed by the Megown family, features toys and gifts nestled into the tree boughs, candles, popcorn strings, treats, and store-bought paper and glass ornaments. Dorothy and Harold Megown are pictured in front of the tree, circa 1907. Original photo by John D. Megown.
