OUR APRIL 2020 PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH PRECAUTIONS REGARDING COVID-19.

The Mahoning Valley Cultural Alliance will hold its next Culture & Cuisine Night at 5:30 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2020, when our theme will be German heritage. We will meet at the
Saxon Club, located at 710 S. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, Ohio. The meal will consist of wiener schnitzel, sausage with kraut, and strudel, among other delicacies.

We are delighted that Tom Carney, local businessman, political leader, and of partly German background, will be our speaker. He has also been a longtime member of the Ohio Cultural
Alliance. Our cultural enrichment will be provided by the Canfield Community Band, pleasing you with their selections of rousing, German-flavored music.

The cost for this event is $25.00 for members of MVHS (currently, a new membership runs from now until June 30, 2021) and $30.00 for non-members. This should be another exciting and insightful program — bring a friend or two and share the fun.

Mahoning Valley Cultural Alliance is responsible for organizing this event series. The group was formerly named Ohio Cultural Alliance before joining MVHS in Summer 2019 as a volunteer-led advisory group.
