Learn about how a Mahoning Valley educator influenced American education – his local roots, the creation of his famous Eclectic Readers, and his enduring legacy as “America’s Schoolmaster.”
Bites & Bits of History is a free lecture program on the third Thursday of every month at the Tyler History Center, 325 West Federal Street in Downtown Youngstown. Doors open at 11:30, and the program begins at Noon. Parking is available in the west side daily lot for $2.50.
