This scavenger-hunt-meets-road-trip tests your knowledge of local history and geography. Teams will receive a set of clues directing them to six different historic sites spread throughout the Mahoning Valley. One “lifeline” call will be available to each team during the race.

Once all historic sites are discovered and photographed with a smartphone or digital camera, teams will proceed to the finish line at ARMS FAMILY MUSEUM (648 Wick Avenue.) The first team to correctly identify all of the sites with event staff wins the coveted Amazing History Race 7 trophy and a special gift prize. A casual outdoor pizza party is planned for after the race for all participants.

Cost is $7 per person; $5 for seniors 60+ and students 5–13. Children aged 4 and under are free. MVHS offers different ways to join the event:
